In the Wilderness
When you’re stuck on a who-knows-where desert island, the first thing you need to do is to keep a cool head. Sometimes it needs to be more than cool; it needs to be COLD. Thinking of all the things you have: your family, your friends, your PS5, etc. won’t help you survive the situation. Sorrow and sadness will only bring you death and doom, and all of the things you have in life will be lost. Just do the simple act of standing up and then the more difficult act of saying “I can do this!” and, finally, the most difficult act of staying determined to give living your all. Stay strong and survive.

In School
The start of school could be the beginning of your agony. But you’ll get nowhere by being depressed and sitting in your room alone, thinking about what you are going to be in the distant future. Instead, do something you’re interested in. If you’re worried about how are you going to get an A in the upcoming exam, chill out, as studying is more effective. Don’t say “I can’t do it,” say “I am unable to not do it” which is a much better approach.
